Sous Vide Foam Tape

This specially made Sous Vide Foam Tape is designed for use with all types of temperature probes and vacuum pouches.

Simply stick a length of the foam tape on to your vacuum pouch to ensure that the vacuum pressure within the pouch is not lost when piercing it with a thermometer probe. For optimum results we would recommend the use of a Thin Tip Probe, such as the PK15M MicroTip Penetration Probe.

This Sous Vide Foam Tape comes in lengths of 1 metre long, by 20mm wide and 4mm thick, from which you can cut the exact size required.

This product is also FDA approved and it uses a food safe adhesive.

About Sous Vide Cooking

The word Sous Vide (pronounced Su Vid) comes from the French for ‘Under Vacuum’. The term ‘Sous Vide Cooking’ is used today, to describe a method of slow cooking that allows for the food to retain much of its original flavour and texture and has become very popular with leading Chefs and Restaurants.
