How Do I Re-Calibrate My Thermometer?

How Do I Re-Calibrate My Thermometer?

The calibration of the C12 HACCP Food Thermometer calibration is set during the manufacture of the product for its lifetime. It should not need to be changed or re-calibrated at any stage.

If you are experiencing issues with temperature readings, it may be that your probe has, or is  developing a fault, in which case we would always advocate trying a different probe if you have one, or ordering a replacement to try.

Is my Thermometer/Probe NTC Type?

Is my Thermometer/Probe NTC Type?

The C12 HACCP Food Thermometer does use Probes with Negative Temperature Coefficient (NTC) Thermistors, however there are many different types of NTC Thermistors available, with different specifications, which may not give accurate results if used with the C12.

We would recommend only using Probes we supply with and for the C12 HACCP Food Thermometer to be sure that the stated instrument accuracy is obtained.

How old is my Comark Product and is it still in Warranty?

How old is my Comark Product and is it still in Warranty?

The serial number on most Comark Products is usually the date of manufacture followed by a unique product number.

For example, 02121234 is (02) for February, (12) for year 2012, and (1234) is the number of the individual product.

This works for all C series Thermometers, Evt2 and N2000 Data Loggers, RF51X Transmitters, KM2xx, PxxxFW, BTxxx etc.

Warranty on most Comark Thermometers is 1 year. However, in reality Comark will give a little over the relevant warranty period to allow for distributor stock.

Ideally, prevention is better than cure for this problem. Check your batteries regularly to ensure they have not leaked, and if you are planning to store the instrument without use for a prolonged period, please consider removing the batteries and storing them separately.
