C22C Food Thermometer The C22C Food Thermometer is designed for taking temperature measurements in a wide range of food applications in kitchens, contract catering through to food retail.
PT24L/C Food Penetration Probe

The PT24L/C Food Penetration Probe has BioCote Antimicrobial Protection in the probe handle to minimise the risk of cross contamination. It features a Thermocouple Type T sensor for a faster response time. The PT24L/C is fitted with a curly brown lead.

The ST23L Between Pack Probe (Thermocouple) is a general purpose surface probe designed for inserting between packs of food. It has a flat foil end in which the Thermocouple (Type T) sensor is located.
AT22L Fast Response Flexible Wire Air Probe

The AT22L Fast Response Flexible Wire Air Probe is a general purpose thermistor air probe designed for food applications, with a total length of 1.0m.

PW70T Thermometer Probe Wipes (70 Pack)

The PW70T Thermometer Probe Wipes (70 Pack) is a pack of 70 probe & surface disinfectant wipes supplied in a small portable dispenser.
MC28 Blue Medium Size Case

The MC28 Blue Medium Size Case is a hard carrying case specifically designed to take one thermometer and a range of probes.

My Instrument reads OPEN (plus BAT in top of LCD)

My Instrument reads OPEN (plus BAT in top of LCD)

Comark ‘C’ series instruments incorporate a switch in the battery compartment to ensure that the Thermometer cannot be used if the integrity of the case is compromised and therefore ingress of liquid is possible,  that could lead to damage to the battery compartment or instrument.

Therefore if the Instrument reads OPEN on the Display and BAT is indicated, please ensure the battery compartment door is properly closed, by checking the following:

  • Check location of battery cover in slots in lower part of case; check they are not damaged or missing.
  • Check tightness of the screw in the battery compartment. Do not over tighten.

If OPEN message does not clear, please return for Service.

My Instrument reads ambient all the time

My Instrument reads ambient all the time

Comark uses the Lumberg connector on many products due to its ruggedness and ability to perform multiple connecting duties. However, this can lead to some confusion, for example, when a Thermocouple Probe, with a Brown or Green lead, is plugged into an instrument designed to accept only a Thermistor/PST probe (for example C20, or C21C).

Doing this will cause no harm to the instrument, or the probe, but the probe will not work correctly and the display may well simply show Ambient Temperature reading.

To confirm if this probe is working correctly please try this probe in a C22 or N9094.

If you believe that the probe has been ordered in error please return the probe so we can arrange an exchange.

How old is my Comark Product and is it still in Warranty?

How old is my Comark Product and is it still in Warranty?

The serial number on most Comark Products is usually the date of manufacture followed by a unique product number.

For example, 02121234 is (02) for February, (12) for year 2012, and (1234) is the number of the individual product.

This works for all C series Thermometers, Evt2 and N2000 Data Loggers, RF51X Transmitters, KM2xx, PxxxFW, BTxxx etc.

Warranty on most Comark Thermometers is 1 year. However, in reality Comark will give a little over the relevant warranty period to allow for distributor stock.

This may cause your device to cease functioning, or become dangerous. In all cases, please return your instrument to Comark for servicing.

Ideally, prevention is better than cure for this problem. Check your batteries regularly to ensure they have not leaked, and if you are planning to store the instrument without use for a prolonged period, please consider removing the batteries and storing them separately.
