The FPP Foodpro Plus Infrared Thermometer with flip-down Probe is used by many broadliners for instant checking of product throughout distribution, in the warehouse or on pallets of incoming product. The LED circle on the Infrared allows an operator to measure precisely the interior of a pallet or the center of a case of lettuce in a walk in cooler. The probe with a 1.5mm thin tip enables an operator to quickly check the interior temperature of a bag of product.  The FPP includes a factory certificate of calibration required by the USDA at many sites.

Automated wireless temperature monitoring systems have become more important within distribution for ensuring products remain within optimum storage temperatures 24/7.  By keeping warehouses and storage areas within set temperature limits, supply chain operators increase efficiency and save money by avoiding large variations in storage temperatures.

Comark’s RF300 Diligence WiFi loggers can be used to collect temperature and humidity measurements in refrigerators, freezers and walk-in coolers and frozen storage areas.  Some models operate with detachable probes further extending the scope of the system.  Records can be stored locally on a PC or by using the Comark Cloud data can be stored remotely and interrogated from any internet enabled device.
